Bill Ward
CO FOUNDER/ OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Bill is presently studying for a postgraduate certificate in trade mark law and practice at Queen Mary University in London.
Bill has spent much of his life in operations management, having first been Flight Operations Director at GB Airways, then Senior Vice President of Flight Operations for Qatar Airways, where he was responsible for over 1,000 pilots and 70 aircraft across five fleets. He has brought this vast business knowledge and operations experience with him to Ward Trade Marks, as well as a keen appreciation of brand value and intellectual property. He’s a member of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management and a student member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
Away from work (though he rarely is truly away from work, even when he’s meant to be off the IP instinct is still working, such as the time he spotted a copyright infringement while out for a run) he has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, completed the London Marathon, is a member of Liberty and is involved in local Chamber of Commerce activities.
"Trade mark IP is such an underestimated tool at SME level. Showing our clients what strength it can give them is the most rewarding part of the job. "
